Following a path through the creative arts has shaped my life. It led me to some incredible opportunities I would never have found otherwise. My adult career path took a different kind of direction however. Heading for the stars can blind you, and even land you in the inky black. I've made strides to move on from that part of my life and I am proud to have put myself through a return to higher education to set my bearings back along the creative alleys and roads I had missed for so many years.
Now I have graduated First Class with Honours in a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design. During my higher education, I won five awards which have made me immensely proud, but I still chase the development and creative experimentation I have craved since year dot. My passions are not confined to any specific medium. Below you'll find a curated collection of my favourite projects from my portfolio. At the bottom of the page, you'll see links to my social media, link tree, and email.
If you have any queries or would like to work with me on any creative project, please get in touch. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy your visit here!
My Awards
In 2020, I was studying my Art Access course to get onto a Graphic Design degree course. With the academic year going from 2019/20, I was working as a nurse the entire time. Regardless of the pandemic, regardless of studying from home, I submitted a great variety of artwork and Leak Art College gave me two awards for excellence.
I then had the pleasure of being nominated for the Cameron Day Charitable Trust award in 2023, and later won it in 2025. The award is granted from lecturer nominations to students in Graphic Design across multiple universities. A single award is granted each year with a monetary prize, for a student who shares Cameron's Cam-Do attitude. It seeks to reward those whose design work and community spirit are exceptional.
Once I finished my degree in 2026, I was given the Made It award for Studentship by my lecturers. The award recognises a graduate who has made an exceptional contribution to the student experience and wider university community. Alongside their academic and creative achievements, they have demonstrated generosity, leadership, and a commitment to supporting others. Through involvement in activities beyond the curriculum, they have helped create opportunities, foster connections, and contribute positively to the culture of the course and institution.
Following the boards for final degree grading, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Derby awarded me with the College of Health & Humanities Best Visual Communications Student. Even with so many awards won, I continue to push myself on each brief. I've been working freelance for seven years now, and I am so excited to move on to new opportunities in this chapter of my life.
